Yakiyah Blackwell is a highly motivated professional with 16 years of Human Services experience and hands-on skills with a high level of care with children, adolescents, and adults. Yakiyah has a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Human Performance and Wellness from St. Augustine’s University. Yakiyah is the proud owner/operator of Elite Case Management Solutions, LLC and also the Founder/Operator of Gurlz Time, a gender-specific prevention education program girls group located in Sumter, South Carolina.
Yakiyah has worked for the Sumter County Department of Mental Health (CAF) providing outpatient and school based therapy with children/adolescents. She has also worked with Lee County Department of Mental Health providing outpatient therapy for adults. Yakiyah has worked in the several human service settings from psychiatric hospital, group home, several community support services as well as substance abuse intensive outpatient program (SAIOP). She is dedicated to helping families cope with mental, physical, and emotional illness while finding sources of support in the community. In her spare time, Yakiyah enjoys sleeping, traveling, playing kickball and spending time with family and friends.
Shebra Davis is a skillful professional with 18 years of Human Service experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Shebra obtained her Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Claflin University located in Orangeburg, S.C. and her Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from South University located in Columbia, S.C.
Upon graduating from Claflin University, Shebra began her professional career working with and mentoring troubled youth at the Dept. of Juvenile Justice for nearly 8 years. Shebra then decided to venture out and began working at Carolina Children's Home as a Clinical Counselor providing inpatient therapy to adolescents with behavioral and mental health issues. From there, Shebra worked in Child Protective Services as an Investigator for Lexington County Dept. of Social Services. Most recently, Shebra worked as a Social Worker/Outreach Specialist at Tandem Health providing case management services for patients that have returned back to care after being out of care.
In Shebra's spare time, she enjoys mentoring and providing Behavior Modification to children and adolescents with behavioral issues. Helping others has always been Shebra's desire in life. Shebra's goal is to one day open a women's shelter in Sumter for battered women and their children.
